Letter of Recommendation

To Whom It May Concern: I wanted to express my gratitude towards Darcy D Vocal Studio for the excellent progress that Darcy has made with our daughter in her passion to pursue vocal training. Although she has only been coached by Darcy for coming up on 2 years now, her improvement has been steady and more recently he has helped to elevate her voice to what I feel is another level that I didn’t think she would reach at such a young age. This past week we heard her practicing in her room assuming that she was singing along with a track (as she normally does to learn a new song) and when I opened the door I was completely taken aback to find it was just her voice and no background vocals at all! I thought to myself “This from a twelve year old?”

It has not just been vocally where we have seen huge success but also in her confidence to perform seemingly unaffected by any surrounding and size of audience. This can only happen when someone is completely comfortable in their abilities. What excites me the most is how much she has come to love music and performing for others. Something that I don’t feel all instructors bring to their clients is their passion for the music and not only teaches them but fills their students with the same desire. I am truly wondering in amazement just how far Brook can go under Darcy’s coaching simply based on how far she has already come. I can only imagine what she will be able to do 2 years from now. Way to go Darcy and thank you!

RE: Darcy Deutsch/Darcy D Vocal Studio

I have known Darcy since January 2008. He has been a voice instructor for my thirteen year old daughter. The classes have progressed through many different exercises that are recorded so that she is able to practice them at home. My daughter thoroughly enjoys her lessons and looks forward to them each week. She has also made a lot of progress with her vocal abilities by learning through the Speech Level Singing method that Darcy teaches. He has also been able to provide singing opportunities for her at a restaurant in town, as well as a talent competition, which she won. I am looking forward to having my daughter continue to expand her talents using Darcy’s expertise and guidance.
